 Torv maintains the Old Shore Shrine , a weathered stone structure built on a cliff overlooking the sea. 
 The shrine predates Moonrest itself. 
 Inside are simple offerings left by villagers:

 Torv tends the shrine daily, replacing offerings washed away by wind or tide. 
   
 Everyone in Moonrest knows Torv. 
 He has been present longer than most residents can remember . 
 Older villagers claim he appeared shortly after the village was founded. 
 Children often bring him: 
 • berries • shells • interesting stones 
 Torv always thanks them as though the gifts were priceless treasures. 
 He offers simple blessings to fishermen before they depart.
