We enter the central chamber and combat begins.

Although Aethswold hits the cental root bound we can see it heals fromt he feeder roots

Seb proves to be ahero by running into the room and turning on the water which supporesses the Pulsebound

As Guru kill the pulsebound we release the creature hiding within. and brnignt the feeder roots back to life. The creature glares with a malevolent blue light

We fight the new creature which we find can absorb the feeder roots to heal.

Aethswold deals the killing blow. Thhe body sways and collapses. We can feel quietness. Aethswold, Guru and Seb were all badly hurt

e look round the room. a sees the creature grew directly forrm the root network, the roots are showinf no attemps tot regrow it

Sa looks at the bones making itup, comes from various animal bones of varying ages.None of the bones seem to be human, so the missing could still be alive

as a group we see the supernatural resonance fin the chamber seems to have gone. The not in the chest has partly detached and is unlike any heart we've seen before. no indication that the root network has been destroyed but it's all gone quiet

Seb tries to harvest from the creature and gets the heart material which seems to still pulse faintly. Aeths gets 2 x blackened root and root fibre/

sec notices the regulators are damaged by largly intact. We leave it alone
